Wokal : Typhoon
Typhoon (born April 8, 1984) is the leader and main vocals of the band. He is also known as Jay Kim. Typhoon grew up in California, U.S.. Typhoon has often called Kim Hee Chul of the group Super Junior his "girlfriend". The two have been good friends while living together since their days as SM Entertainment trainees.

Bass : Attack
Attack (born June 15, 1985) plays the bass for the band. His birth name is Kang Jung Woo (강정우) and going by the nickname "Dul Bong". The instrument he uses is ZON's Sonus5 (SVT Classic).

Gitara : Xmas
X-mas (born March 26, 1985) plays the guitar for the band. His birth name is Kim Jung Mo (김정모) and going by the nickname "Gammo". The instrument he uses is Zemaitis GZ501-Heart/BK Electric Guitar.

Perkusja : Rose [odszedł : 2006]
Rose (born May 29, 1986) played the drums, and was the back-up vocals for the band. Rose's real name is No Min Woo (노민우). On May 10, 2006, Avex Trax announced on their official website that Rose left TRAX to pursue other interests. He is currently the guitarist for the underground four-member rock band "The Romantist". He attends Inha University and studies art

Trax (or THE TRAX) is a Korean band that has been making a name for themselves in Japan. The music that THE TRAX makes is what could be described as neo-metal, which is known in Europe and America through bands like Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. But the most noticeable part of their music are the other influences that they add to it, such as classic, metal, trip hop or hip hop. Another remarkable feature about this group is the ages of the members; being between 19 and 21 years of age, these four young men make music of excellent quality.

THE TRAX started their career in 2004 in Korea as the newest band of their label, SM Entertainment, which also had contracts with other big names like BoA. With support from Yoshiki (ex. X Japan), this label had already managed to make many other Korean artists known in Japan. At that time, the band was composed of Typhoon (Jim Kim, Vo), Attack (Kang JungWoo, Ba), X-MAS (Kim JungMo, Gu) and Rose (No MinWoo, Dr & Gu). Their name even has a story behing it: it is made up of the first letters of their artist names. THE TRAX is supposed to be short for something like “Typhoon of the Rose Attack on X-Mas.”

Their first single, Paradox, was made with the aim for the band to become famous not only in Korea, but also in Japan. The first presentation of the single took place in Seoul infront of a group of 50 young, female fans.

After such a successful start in Korea, THE TRAX soon decided also to go to Japan, which was not unusual for Korean artists at that time simply because there is a larger amount of rock fans in Japan compared to Korea.

Their second single, Scorpio, appeared in December in a Korean, as well as a Japanese, version. The single included two more songs and was their first official release in Japan. Yoshiki helped them step into the Japanese music market as their producer. The corresponding video clip was a sensation on its own, since it was filmed in the center of Tokyo on open roads, and so it caused the traffic to come to a halt in that area.

Barely before they went to Japan, THE TRAX changed their appearance noticeably, so that they looked more like western rock musicians. Around this time the songs of THE TRAX began to sound more and more melodious. As a result they they took a look back in Japanese music history and covered X Japan's hit Tears and thus landed their own hit with it.

Their third single, Rhapsody, appeared in April 2005 just in a Japanese version. The song was, once again, something completely new. It was the first ballad the band performed and was written by Yoshiki. It's release again mirrored the changes of the band, but also showed their full talent.

On the 10th of May 2006, Avex announced on their official website that Rose would be leaving THE TRAX to pursue other interests, mainly studies. Despite Rose being gone, THE TRAX are continuing on as a three member group with support drummers. They have since released an album ChoWoo (“First Rain”), on the 21st of July.
